Personality:

Loosha is the remainder of an ancient species, a huge lake monster that looks like a manatee. Even though she's an animal and doesn't speak human language, she is obviously very intelligent. Throughout the game she's in, Loosha is fully aware of her surroundings, and not only that, but their deeper meanings. For example, she is the first to learn of Descole's plot and oppose it, and was thoughtful enough to realize that her home, the Golden Garden, could cure Arianna's illness and allow her to find happiness. Loosha lives to protect the things she holds dear, and is brave enough to do whatever it takes to do so.

Because Loosha is the last of her kind, as well as being sentient, she is incredibly lonely. There is certainly a layer of sadness and melancholy to her character, but it rarely shines through if she can help it. When meeting with friends, Loosha is very excited and happy, splashing and playing around and being really affectionate. Tony and Arianna were the only friends she had, so she was eternally grateful to them, and never seemed to take anything for granted.

Although Loosha possesses a fair amount of wisdom, she mostly comes off with childlike innocence. Still, she is empathetic to others, and particularly orphans, as Loosha's own parents died when she was very young. She is friendly and kind, and would comfort those having troubles by letting them ride on her back.

A side of her personality that we see quite a lot of is her determination. Throughout the plot, Loosha was literally in the shadows, battling Descole's machines whenever they came to attack the town. It's a bit tough to think of a cute character like her as a berserker, but nevertheless, it's been stated that the melody of the Specter's Flute is the only thing that can calm her down. When we see Loosha in a fight scene, it doesn't matter how many blows she takes. She gets back up and keeps fighting, even if it uses up all of her strength. It would appear that she needs to be calmed or she'll actually kill herself with exhaustion. You might say that she cares too much. Despite her occasional bouts of righteous fury, though, Loosha doesn't have a hateful bone in her body. She would be a pacifist if she could help it.


Abilities:

No powers, but she is HUGE. Definitely dinosaur sized... I don't know if her size would have to be nerfed upon entry; let me know!

I should also note that Loosha cannot use human speech, but characters who can talk to animals can make out what she's saying, and she can understand other humans perfectly well.

Sample Entry:

[Summer is starting to heat up, and although Loosha is fine on land, she is still a sea creature. That pavement is really hot, though, so she can be seen flopped out across the entire lawn of her house, tentatively reaching a flipper out to poke the street.

A little flinch. Yep, it's definitely hot.]

Kwaaaah...

[Loosha looks around to make sure no one is in the way, then waddles back around to put the hose in her mouth and throw into in the street.

... Except now she has to turn the faucet, and she can't do that with flippers. She stares. Darn it, how is she going to turn the street into one big slip-n-slide now!?

Someone come help her before she smashes the fire hydrants. The prospect is tempting, and her eye is wandering.]
